Sea foam glazed lava vase with impressed VALLAURIS mark (French)

There were many potteries in Vallauris, France and they attracted much attention when Picasso moved there to work in the 1950s.  Most of the potteries adopted the collective name of the area. There is a small section on the front of the handle which could be damage, but it is consistent with the effect of the lava technique which was called ecume de mer or sea foam. I can't see any chips or cracks in this quaint vase which is more than 60 years old.
