Fat Lava glazed vase with impressed VALLAURIS mark (French)

There were many potteries in Vallauris, France and they attracted much attention when Picasso moved there to work in the 1950's. Most of the potteries adopted the collective name of the area. The glaze on this small vase was named Fat Lava. Apart from a tiny firing crack on the rim, the condition is very good for a piece which was made at least 60 years ago.
